1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E10-1 (MUTE) - Body ground	Power switch on (ACC) Audio system playing → Audio system changing modes	2.0 V or higher → Below 1 V

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE

NG

1. Disconnect the I8 navigation ECU sub-assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the E10 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I8-16 (MUT1) - E10-1 (MUTE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I8-16 (MUT1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the I8 navigation ECU sub-assembly connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
