DTC B1532: LVDS Signal Malfunction (from Extension Module) [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the U5 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   U5-8 (GND2) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   U5-4 (+B2) - U5-8 (GND2)	Power switch off	11 to 14 V
   U5-3 (ACC2) - U5-8 (GND2)	Power switch on (ACC)	11 to 14 V

NG

1. Replace the navigation wire with a new or known good one (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).
2. Clear the DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).
3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

Result:

1. Replace the stereo component tuner assembly with a new or known good one (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).
2. Clear the DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).
3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

REPLACE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY 

(Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] )

1. Disconnect the U4 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the U5 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   U4-4 (+B2) - U5-4 (+B2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   U4-3 (ACC2) - U5-3 (ACC2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   U4-8 (GND2) - U5-8 (GND2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   U4-4 (+B2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   U4-3 (ACC2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   U4-8 (GND2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
