Speaker Circuit [10/2014 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK SPEAKER (OPERATION CHECK)
- Enter the "System Check Mode" screen. Refer to Check Speaker in Operation Check (Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2014 - 10/2015]
or OPERATION CHECK [10/2015 - ]
).
- Perform the operation check above and determine the speaker that is not operating.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the E1 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
- Disconnect the E11 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
- Disconnect the D47 and D1 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.
- Disconnect the F6 and G6 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.
- Measure the resistance between the radio and display receiver assembly and the DCM (telematics transceiver) to check for an open circuit in the wire harness.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E1-1 (FR+) - E11-2 (SPI+) Always Below 1 Ω E1-5 (FR-) - E11-3 (SPI-) Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the resistance between the DCM (telematics transceiver) and the front No. 1 and No. 2 speaker assembly RH to check for an open circuit in the wire harness.
