Reverse Signal Circuit [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Move the shift lever to R and check if the back-up lights come on.

   OK

   The back-up lights come on.

Result: 

NG 

GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM 

(Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2014 - 10/2015] or HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2015 - ] )

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the E5 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E5-2 (REV) - Body ground	Power switch on (IG) Shift lever in R	11 to 15.5 V
   E5-2 (REV) - Body ground	Power switch on (IG) Shift lever in any position other than R	Below 1 V

Result: 

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
