On-Vehicle Inspection [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the O7 rear light assembly LH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O7-2 (B) - O7-4 (E) Light control switch off Below 1 V
      Light control switch in tail position 11 to 14 V
      O7-3 (B) - O7-4 (E) Power switch on (READY) and the shift lever not in R Below 1 V
      Power switch on (READY) and the shift lever in R 11 to 14 V
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *a Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Rear Light Assembly LH)

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

  2. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Disconnect the O1 rear light assembly RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O1-2 (B) - O1-4 (E) Light control switch off Below 1 V
      Light control switch in tail position 11 to 14 V
      O1-3 (B) - O1-4 (E) Power switch on (READY) and the shift lever not in R Below 1 V
      Power switch on (READY) and the shift lever in R 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.
