Removal [10/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR SIDE MOULDING 
    1. Put protective tape around the luggage compartment door side moulding.

      *1 Protective Tape
    2. Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 3 claws to remove the luggage compartment door side moulding.
  2. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the license plate light assembly.
  3. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT PACKING 
    1. Remove the license plate light packing.

      NOTE:

      Do not reuse the removed packing. Be sure to install a new license plate light packing to prevent water ingress.

  4. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT LENS 
    1. Insert a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape into the license plate light lens hole, tilt it as shown in the illustration and disengage the 2 claws to remove the license plate light lens.

  5. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT BULB 
    1. Remove the license plate light bulb.
