DTC B241A: Rear Height Control Sensor [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).
2. Check for DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).

   OK

   DTC B241A is not output.

Result: 

OK 

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK 

(Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2014 - 10/2015] Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2015 - ] )

Result: 

NG 

See step  2

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL Auto Leveling / Data List.
5. Read the display on the Techstream.

1. Remove the rear height control sensor sub-assembly (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).
2. Inspect the rear height control sensor sub-assembly (Refer to INSPECTION [10/2014 - ] ).

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 

(Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] )

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the A24 headlight leveling ECU assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the K12 rear height control sensor sub-assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A24-19 (SHRL) - K12-2 (SHRR)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A24-19 (SHRL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

OK
