Center Airbag Sensor Communication Stop Mode [10/2014 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Disconnect the D36 airbag ECU assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D36-13 (CANH) - D36-22 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Front view of wire harness connector

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D36-25 (E1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω D36-26 (E2) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
