Open in Bus 5 Main Bus Line [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CONFIRM MODEL 
    1. Choose the model to be inspected.

  2. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the D135 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]

  3. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (CENTRAL GATEWAY ECU) 
    1. Reconnect the D135 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the D129 central gateway ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      D129-15 (CA5H) - D129-16 (CA5L) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω

    REPLACE CENTRAL GATEWAY ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]

  4. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (NO. 7 CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR) 
    1. Reconnect the D129 central gateway ECU connector.
    2. Disconnect the D132 No. 7 CAN junction connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      D132-1 (CANH) - D132-11 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω No. 5 CAN junction connector

  5. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (NO. 5 CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR) 
    1. Reconnect the D132 No. 7 CAN junction connector.
    2. Disconnect the O21 No. 5 CAN junction connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

  6. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the D135 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    2. Disconnect the D129 central gateway ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Reconnect the D129 central gateway ECU connector.
    2. Disconnect the D132 No. 7 CAN junction connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
