Installation [08/2014 - ]

INSTALL BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
1. Temporarily install the set bolt.
2. Install the hydraulic brake booster. Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2014 - ] .
3. tighten the brake pedal support sub-assembly with the 4 nuts.
  Torque: 14 N*m (145 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)
4. Tighten the brake pedal support reinforcement set bolt.
  Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
INSTALL PUSH ROD PIN
1. Apply a light coat of lithium soap base glycol grease to the inner surface of the hole in the brake pedal lever.

2. Set the master cylinder push rod clevis in place, insert the push rod pin from the left side of the vehicle, and then install a new clip.

INSTALL BRAKE PEDAL RETURN SPRING
1. Apply a light coat of lithium soap base glycol grease to inner surface of the hole in the brake pedal support sub-assembly.
2. Install the brake pedal return spring to the brake pedal support sub-assembly.
INSTALL STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
1. Install the stop light switch. Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2014 - ] - Step 2 .
2. Connect the stop light switch connector.
INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
1. Install the lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2014 - ] .
CONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2014 - ] .
BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM See step 2
CHECK AND ADJUST BRAKE PEDAL
1. Check and adjust brake pedal. Refer to ADJUSTMENT [08/2014 - ] .
