Customize Parameters [10/2015 - 08/2016]

  1. CUSTOMIZE METER / GAUGE SYSTEM 
    1. Customizing with the Techstream
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Utility / Customize / Warning or Display.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Warning 

        Tester Display Description Default Setting ECU
        Key Remind Sound Function to change the key reminder buzzer sound frequency Normal 00:Normal, 01:Slow, 10:Fast Combination meter assembly
        Driver Side Seatbelt Warning Buzzer Function to turn on/off the seat belt warning buzzer*a ON 0:OFF, 1:ON Combination meter assembly
        Front Passenger Side Seatbelt Warning Buzzer Function to turn on/off the seat belt warning buzzer*a ON 0:OFF, 1:ON Combination meter assembly
        Lane Change Flashing Times Setting Function to change the lane change flashing time 3 00:OFF, 01:3, 10:5, 11:7 Combination meter assembly
        1. *a: This setting is only valid for the buzzer which sounds at 20 km/h (12 mph) or more.

        Display 

        Tester Display Description Default Setting ECU
        ECO Drive Indicator Zone Function to enable or disable the eco driving indicator zone display in the multi-information display OFF 0:OFF, 1:ON Combination meter assembly
        ODO Display Time After IG OFF Setting Function to change the odometer display time 30s 00:30s, 01:60s, 10:600s, 11:OFF Combination meter assembly

        Unit conversion

        Units By Region Function to change the multi-information display unit Ml/g US*1
        km/l*2        		 000:Km/l JP, 100:Km/l, 010:Ml/g US, 110:Ml/g UK, 001:km/g Combination meter assembly
        1. *1: for Segment Display Type with unit mph
        2. *2: for Segment Display Type with unit km/h
    2. Customizing with the combination meter assembly (for Segment Display Type)
      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      2. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        Setting Part Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Eco driving indicator light Eco On Function to turn on/off the eco driving indicator light Eco On or Eco OFF Combination meter assembly
    3. Customizing with the combination meter assembly (for TFT display type)
      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      2. Enter the following menus: Settings.
      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        NOTE:

        Be sure to record the current value before customizing.

        SETTINGS

        Clock Function to change the digital clock on the display 24H 12H or 24H Combination meter assembly
        Oil Maintenace Perform oil maintenance initialization. - ON or OFF Combination meter assembly
        Language Function to change the language on the display English English, French or Spanish Combination meter assembly
        Units Function to change the units on the display miles (MPG USA) km (km/L), km (L/100 km), miles (MPG USA) or miles(MPG Imperial) Combination meter assembly
        ECO driving indicator light (Symbol) Function to activate/deactivate the ECO driving indicator light ON ON or OFF Combination meter assembly
        Drive Info Function to change the item to be displayed on Drive Info 1
        • Elapsed Time
        • Average Speed
        • Current Fuel Economy (Bar Type)
        • Average Fuel Economy (After Reset, After Start, After Refuel)
        • Average Speed (After Reset, After Start)
        • Elapsed Time (After Reset, After Start)
        • Distance (Range, After Start)
        • Other (Blank)
        		 Combination meter assembly
        Pop-up Display Function to change the interrupt display setting of each item - - -
        Color Function to change the cursor color when selecting a displayed item Clear Blue Clear Blue, Clear Turquoise, Deep Orange or Radiant Orange Combination meter assembly
        Interrupt Display Function to change the interrupt display setting of each item ON ON or OFF Combination meter assembly
        TPMS Press and hold the steering pad switch assembly to perform initialization. - - Combination meter assembly
        Initialization The setting items can be initialized - - Combination meter assembly
