Removal [08/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM 

    See step  1

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT 
    1. for Halogen Headlight:

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]

    2. for LED Headlight:

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER UPPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - ]

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER AIR GUIDE PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [10/2015 - 08/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [08/2017 - ]

  5. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  6. DISCONNECT LIQUID PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the liquid pipe sub-assembly from the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the liquid pipe sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SUPPORT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [10/2015 - 08/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2017 - ]

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD 
    1. Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the water by-pass pipe from the No. 2 fan shroud.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 fan shroud.

  9. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the 2 guides and remove the cooler condenser assembly as shown in the illustration.

      NOTE:

      Do not damage the cooler condenser or radiator when removing the cooler condenser assembly.
