Disassembly [12/2012 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH 
    1. Remove the screw and detach the claw.

    2. Detach the clip, guide and 2 claws in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH 
    1. Detach the clip.

    2. Detach the claw and 3 guides as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration.
    3. Detach the 3 claws to open the cover.

    4. Disconnect the 3 connectors and detach the 3 clamps to remove the front seat cushion shield LH.
  3. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
    1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  4. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
    1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  5. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  6. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  7. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH 
    1. Detach the 2 claws and 3 guides as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration to remove the front inner seat cushion shield LH.

  8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector and detach the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the rubber band.

    3. Detach the 4 wire harness clamps and connector clamp.

      *1 Wire Harness Clamp
      *2 Connector Clamp
    4. Detach the fastener to disconnect the wire harness of the front seat airbag assembly LH.

    5. Detach the connector clamp and wire harness clamp.

    6. Disconnect the connector.
    7. Detach the 2 hooks.

    8. Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback assembly.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT 
    1. Detach the 4 claws to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 
    1. Remove the 5 hog rings.

    2. Remove the 3 hog rings.

    3. Open the 2 fasteners.

    4. Remove the 2 nuts.

    5. Pull the separate type front seatback cover bracket from the separate type front seatback pad.
    6. Remove the 8 hog rings and separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD 
    1. Remove the separate type front seatback pad from the separate type front seatback spring assembly LH.
  13. REMOVE SEATBACK FELT 
    1. Remove the seatback felt from the separate type front seatback spring assembly LH.
  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  15. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEAT WIRE LH 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Detach the 2 clamps to remove the front No. 2 seat wire LH.
  16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

      *1 Wire Harness Clamp
      *2 Connector Clamp
    2. Detach the 3 wire harness clamps and connector clamp to disconnect the seat cushion heater wire.
    3. Detach the 9 hooks to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER 
    1. Remove the 21 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  19. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps and connector clamp.

    2. Detach the 2 clamps.

    3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.
  21. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH 
    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the hook in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
    3. Detach the clip to remove the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

  22. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

  23. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

      Remove the front outer seat cushion edge protector LH in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

  24. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the front outer seat cushion edge protector LH.

  25. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP 
    1. Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly LH.
  26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH

    1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.
    2. Detach the 6 clamps to remove the front seat wire LH.
