DTC B2250: Back Door Closer Operation Malfunction [12/2012 - 10/2015]: Procedure

1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the sector switch.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [12/2012 - 10/2015]

   Body Electrical > Back Door > Data List

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU:  REMOVAL [12/2012 - 10/2015] 

Result: 

NG 

See step  2

1. Remove the back door lock assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - 10/2015]

2. Inspect the back door lock assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [12/2012 - 10/2015]

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY:  REMOVAL [12/2012 - 10/2015] 

Result: 

OK 

See step  3

1. Disconnect the U13 back door lock assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the U18 multiplex network door ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   U13-6 (OPN) - U18-24 (POS)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   U13-4 (E) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   U13-6 (OPN) or U18-24 (POS) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU:  REMOVAL [12/2012 - 10/2015] 

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
