DTC P3110-223: EV Main Relay [09/2013 - ]: Procedure

INSPECT RELAY (IGCT 3)

Remove the IGCT 3 relay from the No. 1 motor compartment room relay block and junction block assembly.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
3 - 5	Auxiliary battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2	10 kΩ or higher

TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

*1	IGCT 3 Relay

NG → REPLACE RELAY (IGCT 3)

OK: Go to next step

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU - IGCT 3 RELAY)

Remove the IGCT 3 relay from the No. 1 motor compartment room relay block and junction block assembly.
Disconnect connectors A56 and A57 from the power management control ECU.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
A57-5 (+B1), A56-2 (+B2) or 3 (IGCT 3 relay) - Body ground	Power switch off	Below 1 V

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: Go to next step

INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY (IGCT-D)

Remove the integration relay from the No. 1 motor compartment room relay block and junction block assembly.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
1C-1 - 1A-4	Auxiliary battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1A-2 and 1A-3.	10 kΩ or higher
1C-1 - 1A-4	Auxiliary battery voltage is applied between terminals 1A-2 and 1A-3.	Below 1 Ω
