DTC P2532-772: Ignition Switch Run Position Circuit High [09/2013 - ]: Procedure
- CLEAR DTC
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Trouble Codes.
- Read and record the DTCs and freeze frame data.
- Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.
- Turn the power switch off.
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (EV)
- Leave the vehicle for 15 seconds or more with the power switch on (IG) after clearing DTCs.
HINT:
Leaving the vehicle for 15 seconds or more is required to detect DTC U0140-146.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs are output.
Result
Result Proceed to U0140-146 is not output but P2532-772 is output. A U0140-146 and P2532-772 are output. B Only DTCs other than U0140-146 and P2532-772 are output. C No DTC is output. D - Turn the power switch off.

- Leave the vehicle for 15 seconds or more with the power switch on (IG) after clearing DTCs.
- CHECK FUSE (ECU-IG1 1)
- Remove the ECU-IG1 1 fuse from the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

NG → CHECK FOR SHORT IN ALL HARNESSES AND CONNECTORS CONNECTED TO FUSE AND REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to next step
- Remove the ECU-IG1 1 fuse from the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block).
- CHECK POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT (MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK))
- Disconnect connector IG from the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK) - AUXILIARY BATTERY)
OK: Go to next step
- Disconnect connector IG from the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block).
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK) - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect connector IE from the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(to Main Body ECU (Instrument Panel Junction Block)) - Connect the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)
- Disconnect connector IE from the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block).
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (EV)
- Turn the power switch off.
- Leave the vehicle for 1.5 seconds or more.
HINT:
Leaving the vehicle for 1.5 seconds or more is required to detect DTC P2532-772.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs are output.
Result
Result Proceed to P2532-772 is output. A P2532-772 is not output. B - Turn the power switch off.

- CHECK POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU
- Turn the power switch off.
- Disconnect connector A57 from the power management control ECU.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Remove the integration relay from the No. 1 motor compartment room relay block and junction block assembly.
- CHECK INTEGRATION RELAY (IG2)
- Remove the integration relay from the No. 1 motor compartment room relay block and junction block assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- Disconnect connector E16 from the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block).TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

- Disconnect connector E16 from the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block).
- REPLACE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2013 - ]
- GO TO DTC CHART (U0140-146).
