DTC P0630-804: VIN Not Programmed or Mismatch - EV ECU [09/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (EV) 
    NOTE:

    If P0630-804 is output, the VIN must be input to the power management control ECU using the Techstream. However, all DTCs are cleared automatically by the Techstream when inputting the VIN. If DTCs other than P0630-804 are output, check them first.

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  2. INPUT VIN WITH TECHSTREAM 
    1. Input the VIN with the Techstream. Refer to REGISTRATION [09/2013 - ] .
      NOTE:

      Be sure to check the auxiliary battery voltage before performing VIN writing because VIN writing cannot be performed if the auxiliary battery voltage is below 10 V.

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (EV) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Trouble Codes.
    4. Read the output DTC.

      OK

      DTC P0630-804 is not output.

    5. Turn the power switch off.

    NG → See step   4 

    OK → COMPLETED 

  4. REPLACE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2013 - ]
