- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR)
- Check the connector connections and contact pressure of the relevant terminals for the power management control ECU connectors. Refer to ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE [09/2013 - ]

- Check the connector connections and contact pressure of the relevant terminals for the power management control ECU connectors. Refer to ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE [09/2013 - ]

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (AUXILIARY BATT TEMPERATURE)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Data List / Auxiliary Batt Temperature.
- Read the Data List.
Result
Result Proceed to -40°C (-40°F) A 215°C (419°F) B Same as actual temperature C - Turn the power switch off.

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CHECK FOR OPEN)
- Disconnect connector A59 from the battery thermometer sensor assembly (thermistor assembly).
- Connect terminals 2 (THB) and 1 (E2) of the vehicle side connector A59 of the battery thermometer sensor assembly (thermistor assembly).
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Data List / Auxiliary Batt Temperature.
- Read the Data List.

OK → REPLACE BATTERY THERMOMETER SENSOR ASSEMBLY (THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect connector A59 from the battery thermometer sensor assembly (thermistor assembly).
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU - BATTERY THERMOMETER SENSOR ASSEMBLY (THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY))
- Connect terminals 28 (THB) and 30 (ETHB) of connector E117 of the power management control ECU.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Data List / Auxiliary Batt Temperature.
- Read the Data List.

- Disconnect connector A59 from the battery thermometer sensor assembly (thermistor assembly).
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Data List / Auxiliary Batt Temperature.
- Read the Data List.

OK → REPLACE BATTERY THERMOMETER SENSOR ASSEMBLY (THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect connector A59 from the battery thermometer sensor assembly (thermistor assembly).
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU - BATTERY THERMOMETER SENSOR ASSEMBLY (THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY))
- Disconnect connector A59 from the battery thermometer sensor assembly (thermistor assembly).
- Disconnect connector E117 from the power management control ECU.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
