DTC B14C0: Front Right Seat Heat Sensor Circuit [09/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2013 - ] .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2013 - ] .

   OK

   DTC B14C0 is not output.

NG → See step   3 

OK → See step   9 

1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the power switch on (IG).
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Data List.
6. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

1. Remove the front seat cushion heater assembly RH. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2013 - ] .
2. Inspect the front seat cushion heater assembly RH. Refer to INSPECTION [09/2013 - ] .

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the E116 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the L34 seat heater control sub-assembly RH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E116-3 (TSR) - L34-5 (TDC+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E116-7 (SG-6) - L34-4 (TDC-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E116-3 (TSR) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   E116-7 (SG-6) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Temporarily replace the seat heater control sub-assembly RH with a new or normally functioning one. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2013 - ] .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2013 - ] .

NEXT: Go to next step
