Indicator Circuit [08/2013 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AUXILIARY BATTERY - COMBINATION METER SUB-ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the L27 combination meter sub-assembly connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L27-2 (IG+) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V Power switch off Below 1 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER SUB-ASSEMBLY - HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the A48 headlight leveling ECU assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A48-6 (WNG) - L27-27 (LVWG) Always Below 1 Ω A48-6 (WNG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT COMBINATION METER SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Reconnect the L27 combination meter sub-assembly connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L27-27 (LVWG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Component with harness connected

OK → See step 5
- Reconnect the L27 combination meter sub-assembly connector.
- REPLACE METER CIRCUIT PLATE. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ]
- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [08/2013 - ]
