DTC P3011-123: Battery Block 1 Becomes Weak; DTC P3012-123: Battery Block 2 Becomes Weak; DTC P3013-123: Battery Block 3 Becomes Weak; DTC P3014-123: Battery Block 4 Becomes Weak; DTC P3015-123: Battery Block 5 Becomes Weak; DTC P3016-123: Battery Block 6 Becomes Weak; DTC P3017-123: Battery Block 7 Becomes Weak; DTC P3018-123: Battery Block 8 Becomes Weak; DTC P3019-123: Battery Block 9 Becomes Weak; DTC P3020-123: Battery Block 10 Becomes Weak [12/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL) See step   1 

    B → See step   6 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK BATTERY SMART UNIT 
    1. Ensure the safety of the areas in front and at the back of the vehicle.
    2. Apply the parking brake and secure the wheels using chocks.
    3. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    4. Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY).
    5. Fully warm up the engine and turn the air conditioning off.
    6. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Battery block Vol - V01 to V10.
    7. Firmly depress the brake pedal with your left foot.
    8. Move the shift lever to D.
    9. Record each battery block voltage from the Data List "Battery Block Vol -V01 to V10" while fully depressing the accelerator pedal.
    10. Compare the battery block voltages "Battery Block Vol - V01 to V10" between the even and odd number groups in each combination shown in the table below.

      HINT: 

      When an internal malfunction occurs in the battery smart unit, this symptom (difference in voltage of 0.3 V or more for all 5 pairs of blocks) will occur.

    11. Turn the ignition switch off.

  3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).
    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
    4. Check if DTCs are output.
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      P3015-123 is output. A
      P3015-123 is not output. B

      HINT: 

      DTC P3015-123 may also stored if there is foreign matter, etc. adhering to the connecting part of the service grip.

    5. Turn the ignition switch off.

  4. REPLACE HV BATTERY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [12/2013 - ] 
  5. REPLACE BATTERY SMART UNIT. Refer to  COMPONENTS [12/2013 - ] 
  6. GO TO DTC CHART (P0AFC-123). Refer to  DTC P0AFC-123: Hybrid Battery Pack Sensor Module [12/2013 - ]  
  7. REPLACE SERVICE PLUG GRIP AND HV BATTERY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [12/2013 - ]
