Customize Parameters [12/2013 - ]

  1. CUSTOMIZE LIGHTING SYSTEM (INT) 
    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

    HINT: 

    • The following items can be customized.
    1. Customizing using the Techstream
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Illuminated Entry.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Illuminated Entry 

        Tester Display Description Default Setting ECU
        Lighting Time Changes the lighting time of the following lights that are operated by the timer function when the interior light DOOR switch of the map light assembly is on:
        • Engine Switch Illumination*1
        • Transponder Key Coil (Ignition Key Cylinder Light)*2
        • Map Light Assembly
        • Spot Light Assembly LH and RH (for Front Side)
        • Spot Light Assembly LH and RH (for Rear Side)
        • Front Door Trim Board Sub-assembly LH and RH (Front Door Ambient Light LH and RH)*3
        • Rear Door Trim Board Sub-assembly LH and RH (Rear Door Ambient Light LH and RH)*3
        • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Driver Side and Passenger Side)*3
        		 15 s 10:30 s, 00:15 s, 01:7.5 s Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        I/L when ACC OFF Turns off the following lights automatically when the interior light DOOR switch of the map light assembly is on and the ignition switch is turned from ON or ACC to off:
        • Engine Switch Illumination*1
        • Transponder Key Coil (Ignition Key Cylinder Light)*2
        • Map Light Assembly
        • Spot Light Assembly LH and RH (for Front Side)
        • Spot Light Assembly LH and RH (for Rear Side)
        		 ON 0:OFF, 1:ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock Lights up the following lights automatically when the interior light DOOR switch of the map light assembly is on and the doors are unlocked by an unlock operation (entry unlock function):
        • Engine Switch Illumination*1
        • Transponder Key Coil (Ignition Key Cylinder Light)*2
        • Map Light Assembly
        • Spot Light Assembly LH and RH (for Front Side)
        • Spot Light Assembly LH and RH (for Rear Side)
        		 ON 0:OFF, 1:ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Room Light when Aprchd Lights up the following lights when the interior light DOOR switch of the map light assembly is on and the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is brought near the vehicle*1:
        • Engine Switch Illumination
        • Map Light Assembly
        • Spot Light Assembly LH and RH (for Front Side)
        • Spot Light Assembly LH and RH (for Rear Side)
        		 ON 0:OFF, 1:ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Light Control Dims the following lights when the ignition switch is ON and the shift lever is moved to any position other than P*3:
        • Front Door Trim Board Sub-assembly LH and RH (Front Door Ambient Light LH and RH)
        • Rear Door Trim Board Sub-assembly LH and RH (Rear Door Ambient Light LH and RH)
        • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Driver Side and Passenger Side)
        		 ON 0:OFF, 1:ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Interior Light Control Lights up the following lights:
        • Engine Switch Illumination*1
        • Transponder Key Coil (Ignition Key Cylinder Light)*2
        • Map Light Assembly
        • Spot Light Assembly LH and RH (for Front Side)
        • Spot Light Assembly LH and RH (for Rear Side)
        • Front Door Trim Board Sub-assembly LH and RH (Front Door Ambient Light LH and RH)*3
        • Rear Door Trim Board Sub-assembly LH and RH (Rear Door Ambient Light LH and RH)*3
        • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Driver Side and Passenger Side)*3
        		 ON 0:OFF, 1:ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Interior Illumination Light Lights up the following lights*3:
        • Front Door Trim Board Sub-assembly LH and RH (Front Door Ambient Light LH and RH)*3
        • Rear Door Trim Board Sub-assembly LH and RH (Rear Door Ambient Light LH and RH)*3
        • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Driver Side and Passenger Side)*3
        		 ON 0:OFF, 1:ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        • *1: w/ Smart Key System
        • *2: w/o Smart Key System
        • *3: w/ Ambient Light
    2. Customizing using the multi-display
      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      2. Enter the following menus: APPS or SETUP / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Light Settings. (for Radio and Display Type)
      3. Enter the following menus: APPS / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Light Settings. (for Navigation Receiver Type)
      4. Select the setting by referring to the table below:
        LIGHT SETTINGS

        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Interior Light Off Timer 15 sec. Changes the lighting time of the following lights that are operated by the timer function when the interior light DOOR switch of the map light assembly is on:
        • Engine Switch Illumination*1
        • Transponder Key Coil (Ignition Key Cylinder Light)*2
        • Map Light Assembly
        • Spot Light Assembly LH and RH (for Front Side)
        • Spot Light Assembly LH and RH (for Rear Side)
        • Front Door Trim Board Sub-assembly LH and RH (Front Door Ambient Light LH and RH)*3
        • Rear Door Trim Board Sub-assembly LH and RH (Rear Door Ambient Light LH and RH)*3
        • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Driver Side and Passenger Side)*3
        		 Off, 15 sec., 7.5 sec. or 30 sec. Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        • *1: w/ Smart Key System
        • *2: w/o Smart Key System
        • *3: w/ Ambient Light
