Removal [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29

  8. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - 11/2016]

  9. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Move the shift lever to N.
    2. Separate the end of the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.

    3. Rotate the nut counterclockwise approximately 180° and, while holding the nut in that position, separate the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.

    4. Disengage the wire harness clamp.

    5. Remove the nut from the transmission control shaft lever.

    6. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly with the clip from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

    7. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the clip from the transmission control cable assembly.

    8. Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the No. 3 transmission control cable bracket.

    9. Turn back the dash panel insulator.

    10. Remove the 3 bolts and pull out the transmission control cable assembly from the cabin.
