Removal [12/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  6. SEPARATE FRONT FENDER LINER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  8. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID 

    See step  4

  9. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  10. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER 
    1. Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose and No. 4 water by-pass hose from the transmission oil cooler.

      *1 No. 3 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 4 Water By-pass Hose
    2. Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the outlet No. 1 oil cooler hose and inlet No. 1 oil cooler hose from the transmission oil cooler.

      *1 Outlet No. 1 Oil Cooler Hose
      *2 Inlet No. 1 Oil Cooler Hose
    3. Remove the 3 bolts and transmission oil cooler from the front engine mounting bracket.
