- CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (POWER SOURCE OF STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
*a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Stop Light Switch Assembly)- Disconnect the stop light switch assembly connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A86-7 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V Proceed to OK NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (BATTERY - STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

- CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (POWER SOURCE OF STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Disconnect the ECM connector.

- Disconnect the stop light switch assembly connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY - ECM)
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY - SEMICONDUCTOR PWR INTEGRATION ECU)
- Disconnect the semiconductor pwr integration ECU connector.
- Disconnect the stop light switch assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A86-6 (B) - 1F-4 Always Below 1 Ω A86-6 (B) or 1F-4 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Proceed to OK NG

OK
REPLACE SEMICONDUCTOR PWR INTEGRATION ECU.
