Installation [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

INSTALL ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

Install a new water pump gasket and the engine water pump assembly together with the water pump pulley with the 15 bolts.

Bolt (A)

Torque: 43 N*m (438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)

Bolt (B)

Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)

Bolt (C)

Torque: 11 N*m (112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf)

Standard Length

Item	Length
Bolt (A)	60 mm (2.36 in.)
Bolt (B)	55 mm (2.17 in.)
Bolt (C)	22 mm (0.866 in.)

NOTE:

Make sure that there is no oil on the threads of the bolts (A) and (B).
Do not start the engine for at least 1 hour after installation.

INSTALL WATER PUMP PULLEY

Temporarily install the water pump pulley with the 4 bolts.

Using SST, hold the water pump pulley.

SST: 09960-10010
1. 09962-01000
2. 09963-00700

*a	Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length

Using a 12 mm union nut wrench, fully tighten the 4 bolts.
Specified tightening torque

Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)

HINT:
- Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
  Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2016 - ]
- When using a 12 mm union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 20 mm (0.787 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)): 19 N*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL NO. 2 IDLER PULLEY SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the No. 2 idler pulley sub-assembly with the bolt.
  Torque: 54 N*m (551 kgf*cm, 40 ft.*lbf)
INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

INSTALL WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
