Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
See step 1
- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25
- REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE MOUNTING STAY RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14
- REMOVE ENGINE MOVING CONTROL ROD BRACKET
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33
- DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE
- Disconnect the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly connector.

- Remove the bolt to disconnect the engine wire.
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET LH
- Loosen the 7 bolts.

HINT:
There is not enough clearance to completely remove some of the 7 bolts from the front No. 1 engine mounting bracket LH.
- Remove the front No. 1 engine mounting bracket LH together with the bolts.
- DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38
- DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE
- Slide the clip and disconnect the water by-pass hose.

- REMOVE WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

- Remove the gasket from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.
