Installation [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL COOLING FAN MOTOR RH 
    1. Install the cooling fan motor RH with the 3 screws.

      Torque: 3.9 N*m (40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the cooling fan motor RH connector and engage the wire harness to the clamp.
  2. INSTALL COOLING FAN MOTOR LH 
    1. Install the cooling fan motor LH with the 3 screws.

      Torque: 3.9 N*m (40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the cooling fan motor LH connector and engage the wire harness to the 2 clamps.
  3. INSTALL FAN RH 
    NOTE:

    Do not reverse the position of the fan RH and fan LH when installing them. Doing so may damage the parts.

    1. Install the fan RH with the nut.

      Torque: 6.3 N*m (64 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf) 

  4. INSTALL FAN LH 
    NOTE:

    Do not reverse the position of the fan RH and fan LH when installing them. Doing so may damage the parts.

    1. Install the fan LH with the nut.

      Torque: 6.3 N*m (64 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf) 

  5. INSTALL FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 3 guides.
    2. Engage the 3 claws to install the fan shroud assembly to the radiator assembly.
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the radiator assembly when installing the fan shroud assembly.

    3. Engage the 4 wire harness clamps.
    4. Connect the cooling fan ECU connector.
  6. CONNECT RADIATOR RESERVE TANK HOSE 
    1. Connect the radiator reserve tank hose.
  7. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Connect the No. 1 radiator hose and slide the clip to secure it.
  8. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  9. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  10. INSTALL BATTERY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 64

  11. INSTALL INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 63

  12. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2016 - ]

  13. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  2

  14. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  15. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 103
