Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE BATTERY STATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the nut and disconnect the engine wire from the battery state sensor assembly.

      NOTE:

      When disconnecting the engine wire, some systems need to be initialized after the engine wire is reconnected.

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2016 - ]

    2. Loosen the nut and remove the battery state sensor assembly from the battery.

    3. Disconnect the battery state sensor assembly connector.

    4. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the battery state sensor assembly from the battery current sensor holder.
