DTC P1602-7B: Deterioration of Battery Low Fluid Level [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM 
    1. Check the charging system.

      Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [11/2016 - ] .

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CHARGING SYSTEM 

    Result: 

    OK 

    Go to next step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the A43 ECM connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      (to ECM)

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A43-1 (BATT) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

    Result: 

    OK 

    CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS.  Refer to CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS [11/2016 - ] .

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (ECM - BATTERY)
