DTC P160F-00: Charging Control System [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CHARGING SYSTEM)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
- Read the DTCs
Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes
Result Proceed to Charging system DTCs are not output A Charging system DTCs are output B

GO TO CHARGING SYSTEM. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2016 - ] .

Go to next step
- CLEAR DTC
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Stop and Start / Trouble Codes.
- Clear the DTC.
Powertrain > Stop and Start > Clear DTCs
Result:

Go to next step
- CHECK ANY OTHER DTCS OUTPUT
- Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 30 seconds or more.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Stop and Start / Trouble Codes.
- Read the DTCs.
Powertrain > Stop and Start > Trouble Codes
Result Proceed to DTC P160F00 is not output A DTC P160F00 is output B
