DTC P1589-54: G Sensor Zero Point Calibration Incomplete [11/2016 - ]: Description

If the vehicle is driven before calibration of the deceleration sensor zero point is performed, the engine stop and start ECU stores DTC P158954 and blinks the stop and start cancel indicator.

DTC No. Detection Item DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area Warning Indicate Memory Note
P158954 G Sensor Zero Point Calibration Incomplete Both of the following conditions are met for 5 seconds or more (1 trip detection logic):
  • The vehicle speed is 3 km/h (2 mph) or more and skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) communication is normal.
  • Deceleration sensor zero point calibration is incomplete.
  • The deceleration sensor zero point calibration has not been performed.
  • Airbag sensor assembly (deceleration sensor)
  • Engine stop and start ECU
