Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2016 - ]

  2. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 6 ignition coil assembly connectors.

    2. Remove the 6 bolts and 6 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly and cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.
      NOTE:

      If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

  3. REMOVE SPARK PLUG 
    1. Remove the 6 spark plugs from the cylinder head sub-assembly and cylinder head LH.
      NOTE:

      If a spark plug has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.
