Installation [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL SPARK PLUG 

    HINT: 

    Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing a spark plug.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2016 - ]

    1. Install the 6 spark plugs to the cylinder head sub-assembly and cylinder head LH.

      Torque: 18 N*m (184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      If a spark plug has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Install the same parts to their original positions.

  2. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing an ignition coil assembly.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2016 - ]

    1. Install the 6 ignition coil assemblies to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly and cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH with the 6 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Install the same parts to their original positions.

    2. Connect the 6 ignition coil assembly connectors.
  3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2016 - ]

  4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing an ignition coil assembly or spark plug.

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2016 - ]
