Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  3. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for 2WD) 
    1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

      *1 Wire Harness Clamp Bracket
    2. Disengage the 3 wire harness clamps.
    3. Remove the wire harness clamp bracket from the heated oxygen sensor.
    4. Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
      • SST: 09224-00012 
      NOTE:

      If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for AWD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for AWD) 
    1. Remove the wire harness clamp bracket from the heated oxygen sensor.

    2. Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
      • SST: 09224-00012 
      NOTE:

      If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
