Inspection [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the wire harness protector.

      *1 Wire Harness Protector
    2. Disconnect the engine oil pressure switch assembly connector.
    3. Start the engine.
    4. Measure the continuity of the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

      Standard Continuity

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - Switch body Idling No Continuity
      Engine stopped Continuity

      If the result is not as specified, replace the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

    5. Connect the engine oil pressure switch assembly connector.
    6. Connect the wire harness protector.
