Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    See step  1

  3. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2016 - ]

  4. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the nut and hose clamp from the cylinder block sub-assembly.

    2. Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose from the oil cooler assembly.

      *1 No. 4 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 5 Water By-pass Hose
    3. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and oil cooler assembly from the No. 1 oil cooler bracket.

    4. Remove the 2 O-rings and No. 1 cylinder block insulator from the No. 1 oil cooler bracket.

      *2 No. 1 Cylinder Block Insulator
