Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  2. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER AIR DUCT 
    1. Remove the bolt.

    2. Turn back the front fender liner LH.
    3. Remove the 3 bolts.

    4. Disengage the guide to remove the transmission oil cooler air duct from the oil cooler assembly.
  3. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE 
    1. Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the outlet No. 2 oil cooler hose and No. 2 transmission oil cooler hose from the oil cooler assembly.

      *1 Outlet No. 2 Oil Cooler Hose
      *2 No. 2 Transmission Oil Cooler Hose
      NOTE:

      Use a container to catch any fluid which flows out of the outlet No. 2 oil cooler hose, No. 2 transmission oil cooler hose and oil cooler assembly.

  4. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and oil cooler assembly from the oil cooler bracket.

      NOTE:

      Use a container to catch any fluid which flows out of the oil cooler assembly.

  5. REMOVE OIL COOLER BRACKET 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the oil cooler bracket is necessary.

    1. Remove the bolt, nut and oil cooler bracket from the vehicle body.
