Removal [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - ]

  2. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  6. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  7. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  8. REMOVE INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 3 hose clamps from the intake air resonator sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts.
    3. Remove the intake air resonator sub-assembly from the inlet No. 2 air cleaner.
  9. REMOVE INLET NO. 2 AIR CLEANER 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Remove the inlet No. 2 air cleaner from the inlet No. 1 air cleaner.
  10. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER 
    1. Disengage the hose clamp from the inlet No. 1 air cleaner.

    2. Remove the bolt.
    3. Remove the inlet No. 1 air cleaner from the air cleaner assembly.
  11. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 
    1. Disengage the hose clamp from the air cleaner hose.

    2. Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector and disengage the wire harness clamp.
    3. Slide the clip and disconnect the ventilation hose from the air cleaner hose.

    4. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the air cleaner hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.
    5. Remove the 2 bolts.

    6. Disengage the clamp to remove the air cleaner assembly with air cleaner hose.
  12. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the throttle body with motor assembly connector and disengage the wire harness clamp.

    2. Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose and No. 3 water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.

      *1 No. 2 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 3 Water By-pass Hose
    3. Remove the 4 bolts, wire harness clamp bracket and throttle body with motor assembly from the intake air surge tank assembly.

      NOTE:

      If the throttle body with motor assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  13. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY GASKET 
    1. Remove the throttle body gasket from the intake air surge tank assembly.
