Installation [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure
- INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY
- Engage the guide and temporarily install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly with the 2 bolts.
- Fully tighten the bolt (A) first, then the bolt (B) to install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly.
Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf)
- INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

- INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
- Temporarily install the front seat outer belt assembly with the 2 bolts.
- Fully tighten the bolt (A) first, then the bolt (B).
Bolt (A)
Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf)
Bolt (B)
Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf)
- for LH Side:
- for RH Side:
- Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Securely lock the locking button.
*a Locking Button *b Lock *c Pretensioner Connector *d Selectable Force Limiter Connector - Connect the selectable force limiter connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Securely lock the locking button.
- Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.
- Connect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the nut.
Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf)
- Check that the ELR locks.NOTE:
The check should be performed with the front seat outer belt assembly installed.
- With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.
- INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH

- CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
- INSTALL LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 48 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 49
- CONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 49 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 50
- INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for LH Side)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 50 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51
- INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PANEL LH (for LH Side)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 52
- INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for RH Side)
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

- INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
- CONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 54 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 55
- INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 56 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 57
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- INSTALL NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

- INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
