Installation [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the guide and temporarily install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly with the 2 bolts.

    2. Fully tighten the bolt (A) first, then the bolt (B) to install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY 

    See step  1

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Temporarily install the front seat outer belt assembly with the 2 bolts.

    2. Fully tighten the bolt (A) first, then the bolt (B).

      Bolt (A) 

      Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf) 

      Bolt (B) 

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

    3. for LH Side:
      1. Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.

        *a Locking Button
        *b Lock
        NOTE:

        Securely lock the locking button.

    4. for RH Side:
      1. Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Securely lock the locking button.

        *a Locking Button
        *b Lock
        *c Pretensioner Connector
        *d Selectable Force Limiter Connector
      2. Connect the selectable force limiter connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Securely lock the locking button.

    5. Connect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

    6. Check that the ELR locks.
      NOTE:

      The check should be performed with the front seat outer belt assembly installed.

      1. With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.
  4. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 46 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 47

  5. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf)

  6. INSTALL LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 48 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 49

  7. CONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 49 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 50

  8. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 50 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51

  9. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PANEL LH (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 52

  10. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 50 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51

  11. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  12. CONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 54 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 55

  13. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 56 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 57

  14. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [02/2014 - 11/2016]

  15. INSTALL NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 71 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 72

  16. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 72 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 73

  17. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT 

    Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [02/2014 - ]
