Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) 

    See step  1

  2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  3. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - ]

  4. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. SEPARATE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32

  6. REMOVE RESERVOIR BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE MOUNTING STAY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  8. REMOVE ENGINE MOVING CONTROL ROD BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35

  9. DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE 
    1. Remove the bolt to disconnect the engine wire.

  10. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET LH 
    1. Loosen the 7 bolts.

      HINT: 

      There is not enough clearance to completely remove some of the 7 bolts from the front No. 1 engine mounting bracket LH.

    2. Remove the front No. 1 engine mounting bracket LH together with the bolts.
  11. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28

  12. DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the water by-pass hose.

  13. REMOVE WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the gasket from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.
