Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
- REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
- REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH
See step 3
- REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE NO. 3 EXHAUST PIPE DAMPER
- REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst)
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs to disconnect the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
- Remove the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the exhaust pipe support.
- Remove the gasket from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs to disconnect the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Disengage the 3 wire harness clamps.
- Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (for Bank 1) connector.
- Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly from the front exhaust pipe assembly and exhaust manifold (TWC: Front Catalyst).
Bolt Nut - Remove the 2 gaskets from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
- Disengage the 3 wire harness clamps.
- REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1)
- REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET (for Lower Side)
- REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2)
