1. Check if navigation system DTCs are output.

1. Disconnect the E43 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the E68 navigation receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E43-28 (MSCL) - E68-4 (CNL1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E43-29 (MSCH) - E68-3 (CNH1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E43-28 (MSCL) or E68-4 (CNL1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   E43-29 (MSCH) or E68-3 (CNH1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Replace the combination meter assembly with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - ]

2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait 30 seconds.
   NOTE:

   A maximum of 30 seconds is required to send/receive the registration information between the combination meter assembly and navigation receiver assembly.

3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab illuminates.
4. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ]

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes
