DTC B1630/23: Rear Airbag Sensor RH Circuit Malfunction [08/2013 - 12/2013]: Description

The side collision sensor RH circuit (to determine deployment of the front seat airbag assembly RH, rear seat airbag assembly RH, curtain shield airbag assembly RH and front seat outer belt assembly RH) is composed of the airbag sensor assembly, side airbag sensor assembly RH, side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly RH and door side airbag sensor RH.
The side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly RH detects impacts to the vehicle and sends signals to the airbag sensor assembly to determine if the airbag should be deployed.
DTC B1630/23 is stored when a malfunction is detected in the side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly RH.
