TC and CG Terminal Circuit [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TC OF DLC3 - TC OF ECU)
- Turn the power switch off.
- Disconnect the connector from the power management control ECU.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition I39-13 (TC) - I3-11 (TC) Always Below 1 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 DLC3 *a Front view of wire harness connector
(to power management control ECU)
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS
OK: Go to next step
- Turn the power switch off.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (CG OF DLC3 - BODY GROUND)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition I39-4 (CG) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 DLC3
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS
OK: Go to next step
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TC OF DLC3 - BODY GROUND)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition I39-13 (TC) - Body ground Always 1 MΩ or higher TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 DLC3
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR REPLACE EACH ECU
OK → See step 4
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- REPLACE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ]
