Interior Light Circuit [08/2013 - ]: Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
- Check that the lights operate.MAIN BODY
Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Illuminated Entry System Personal light*2 and rear interior light ON/OFF - No. 1 room light assembly switch in DOOR position*1
- Interior light door switch is on*2
- *1: w/o Sliding Roof
- *2: w/ Sliding Roof
OK
Each light fades in.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LIGHT CUT RELAY - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the 3B instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT:
Perform the check under the following conditions:
- No. 1 room light assembly switch in DOOR position*1
- Interior light door switch on*2
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3B-34 - Body ground*3 Ignition switch off 11 to 14 V 3B-35 - Body ground Ignition switch off 11 to 14 V - *1: w/o Sliding Roof
- *2: w/ Sliding Roof

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
- Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] .
- Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

- INSPECT ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
- Remove the roof console box assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] .
- Inspect the roof console box assembly. Refer to INSPECTION [08/2013 - ]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LIGHT CUT RELAY - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY)
- Install the roof console box assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] .
- Disconnect the 3B instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT:
Perform the check under the following conditions:
- Interior light door switch on
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3B-35 - Body ground Ignition switch off 11 to 14 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
- Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] .
- Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
