Door Unlock Detection Switch Circuit [08/2013 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
- Read the display on the Techstream.MAIN BODY

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH - MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the K1 front door lock assembly LH connector.
- Disconnect the I13 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K1-8 (LSSR) - I13-7 (LSFL) Always Below 1 Ω K1-8 (LSSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher K1-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

- INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH
- Remove the front door lock assembly RH. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - 12/2013] .
- Inspect the front door lock assembly RH. Refer to INSPECTION [08/2013 - ]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH - MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the J1 front door lock assembly RH connector.
- Disconnect the I13 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J1-7 (LSSR) - I13-18 (LSFR) Always Below 1 Ω J1-7 (LSSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher J1-8 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the M1 rear door lock assembly LH connector.
- Disconnect the 3C instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition M1-6 (LSSR) - 3C-17 Always Below 1 Ω M1-6 (LSSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher M1-9 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH
- Remove the rear door lock assembly RH. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - 12/2013] .
- Inspect the rear door lock assembly RH. Refer to INSPECTION [08/2013 - ]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the L1 rear door lock assembly RH connector.
- Disconnect the 3A instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L1-6 (LSSR) - 3A-53 Always Below 1 Ω L1-6 (LSSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher L1-9 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

- INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
- Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] .
- Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
