  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL) See step   1 

    B → GO TO DTC CHART (HYBRID BATTERY SYSTEM) 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (VB1 - VB17) 
    1. Ensure the safety of the areas in front and at the back of the vehicle.
    2. Apply the parking brake and secure the wheels using chocks.
    3. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    4. Turn the power switch on (READY).
    5. Fully warm up the engine and turn the air conditioning off.
    6. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Battery Block Vol - V01 to V17.
    7. Firmly depress the brake pedal with your left foot.
    8. Move the shift lever to D.
    9. Record each battery block voltage from the Data List "Battery Block Vol - V01 to V17" while fully depressing the accelerator pedal.
    10. Compare the battery block voltages "Battery Block Vol - V01 to V17" between the even and odd number groups in each combination shown in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Make sure to compare Battery Block Vol - V17 to Battery Block Vol - V14 in accordance with the table above.

      HINT: 

      When an internal malfunction occurs in the battery voltage sensor, this symptom (difference in voltage of 0.3 V or more for all 9 pair of blocks) will occur.

    11. Turn the power switch off.
    12. Disconnect the Techstream from the DLC3.

  3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
    4. Check for DTCs.
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      P3019-123 is output. A
      P3019-123 is not output. B

      HINT: 

      DTC P3019-123 may also be stored if there is foreign matter, etc. adhering to the connecting part of the service grip.

    5. Turn the power switch off.

    B → See step   4 

    A → See step   6 

  4. REPLACE HV BATTERY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2013 - ] 
  5. REPLACE BATTERY VOLTAGE SENSOR. Refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2013 - ] 
  6. REPLACE SERVICE PLUG GRIP AND HV BATTERY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2013 - ]
