Inspection Procedure

WARNING:
When disposing of an HV battery, make sure to return it through an authorized collection agent who is capable of handling it safely. If the HV battery is returned via the manufacturer specified route, it will be returned properly and in a safe manner by an authorized collection agent.
HINT:
After the repair, clear the DTCs and perform the following procedure to check that DTCs are not output.
- Turn the power switch on (IG) and confirm that "Temp of Batt" is 0 °C or more.
HINT:
If the HV battery temperature is low, leave the vehicle in a warm place or drive the vehicle.
- Turn the power switch on (READY) and wait for 30 seconds or more.
- Drive the vehicle until the cumulative traveling time driven at 40 km/h or more reaches 5 minutes.
- Stop the vehicle, move the shift lever to N and wait until the Data List item "State of Charge (All Bat)" reaches 30 %.NOTE:
Although DTC P3000-388 is stored when the Data List item "State of Charge (All Bat)" drops to 20 % or lower, this is not a malfunction.
- Turn the power switch off and wait for 30 seconds or more.
- Perform a road test again.
