Ambient Light Switch Circuit [10/2013 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.MAIN BODY
Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Ceiling Light SW Mood switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Mood switch pressed
OFF: Mood switch not pressed- OK

- INSPECT MOOD SWITCH (ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY)
- Remove the roof console box assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [10/2013 - ] .
- Inspect the mood switch on the roof console box assembly. Refer to INSPECTION [10/2013 - ]

OK
Mood switch on the roof console box assembly is normal.
NG → See step 6
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the D5 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition N6-11 (+B1) - D5-27 (ILSW) Always Below 1 Ω N6-11 (+B1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher N6-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to REMOVAL [10/2013 - ]
- REPLACE ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [10/2013 - ]
